It’s Sunday Y’all! I am seriously sad the weekend has gone by so fast!! I am so not ready to head back to work just yet. I have spent the last 5 days in Osoyoos and Kelowna, and unfortunately I got a really bad cold on the second day here. I am still feeling quite sick, but I think the worst is behind me
Today is #nationallipstickday and I think this is one of us bloggers FAV days of the year! I did a post a on my top lippies here and I have to say, I am really feeling the reds right now! So today, in light of National Lipstick Day, Mac Cosmetics gave away a free lipstick if you went to any one of their stores/retailers. Sadly, that was only valid in the USA. I ended up going to Mac today and later realized this right as I was about to purchase my new lipstick… I have to say it was a little disappointing! I feel like as Canadians we never get any of the amazing deals like they do down south!
I still purchased my new lipstick [at a whopping 10% off…] and applied it for my FIRST professional photo shoot for my blog today! I am super excited to see how it turned out! If you are ever in Kelowna, you have to meet Lindsay from Boketto Photography. She is truly the sweetest and really great at what she does! I was a little nervous to do my first shoot, but she made is so easy and fun –I had no idea we had been taking pictures for over an hour! She even got my hubby to ‘not blink’ for a couple of the photos! I will be posting them soon, so stay tuned!
Have a relaxing Sunday everyone! I will be driving most of the day. Hopefully the traffic will be okay… there was a big music festival here in Kelowna this weekend [of course I had no idea when I booked our trip] so I’m sure there will be a lot of people trying to get back to Vancouver!
Ps. Taking the photos below was a huge challenge because the mosquitos were insane up at the top of Grouse Mountain and everyone was being attacked, so there aren’t many of them that turned out!
